Our Employment Services program falls under the umbrella of Summer Street Works. To get started, interested employers meet with our job developers to discuss opportunities and good matches. Prior to placement, program participants receive training in job skills, work related interpersonal skills, habits and attitudes for success in any work setting.
Participants in the program have a wide range of skills including: production, customer support, food services, janitorial, inventory stocking and landscaping. Hiring is made easy with clearly established expectations and work terms. Ongoing support is provided as required. Employment can be full-time, part-time or through subcontracting. The Summer Street Works program currently includes 60 employers.
