Summer Street partners are people, businesses, groups or agencies that share opportunities and support our organization and those we serve. Partners are invested in what we do.
The Department of Community Services is our most important funding partner. Directions Council of Nova Scotia keeps us connected with our provincial counterparts. Over 60 business partners participate in our Summer Street Works program. Volunteer organizations provide opportunities to participate and contribute to local events and charities. Small business partners and entrepreneurs bring new ideas to the table that provide opportunity for our social enterprises.
Sobeys is one example of a community partner who supports us in many ways. They generously donate time, services and goods, employ participants, sit on Boards, and contribute to committees.
